![]() Whee-lo Box Cover Circa 1970 FUN FACTS!
Maggie Magnetic Inc. of New York introduced the "Whee-lo - The Magnetic Walking Wheel" in 1953.
In 1957, the Whee-lo sells for 79¢ and comes with 6 "Whee-let" colorful attachments.
Advertising on the package promotes the Whee-lo as a great "contest toy, sick room toy and back seat toy."
In his autobiography The Stringless Yo-Yo, Harvey Job Matusow claims to have invented the Whee-lo to raise money to pay his legal fees. Harvey Job Matusow was charged with lying to Congress during the 1957 Anti-Communist McCarthy trials.
